It is questionable whether the HD format shall prevail, if the Blu-ray will replace it, but I like many others, I see my pennies, the choice of HD DVD discs, rather than on the price difference between Blu-ray. Toshiba HD DVD player is also very easy to be my Harmony universal remote control recognition, so I can control the TV, home theater, DVD and satellite DVR's via a remote control.

Re: Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player available as low as $198

The design of the HD-A2 is the cloves and much better than the A1 series. They fit perfectly with today's bright spot black flat screen televisions. It's a bit bigger than I expected, but it's great to not bother me at all and you can stack it with ease unlike game consoles. The HD-A2 is very quiet too.
