Sorry, but from this article I didn't really understand what this Dock Station does? Is it just a tool so you can connect your Iphone to your stereo? Or?

ASD's 3G Dock Station is such a nice enhancement and it's brushed aluminum gives very contemporary look to an existing platform…ASD has a slick looking docking station. It's audio and video out allow the iPhone to be connected to a TV or home stereo as well.
